Nature’s Orbit, in collaboration with UNICEF and LCOY India, hosted the **Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) 2025** in Guwahati under its Climate Action Literacy initiative. With 55 participants, including students, youth leaders, and experts, the conference addressed pressing urban challenges like waste, pollution, and rapid urbanization. Through interactive sessions and design labs, participants co-created sustainable solutions and developed a Youth Action Agenda, positioning young voices as key decision-shapers in Guwahati’s climate-resilient future.

On Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025, Nature’s Orbit organized an awareness session centered on the theme "Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld," engaging 30 youth from Dispur College and 40 housekeeping staff from USTM to break taboos, promote safe practices, and encourage sustainable menstrual choices. As a practical initiative, we distributed Genie Pad’s biodegradable sanitary napkins to highlight the importance of eco-friendly alternatives that protect both women’s health and the environment, ultimately fostering dialogue and emphasizing dignity, inclusivity, and sustainability in menstrual health management across generations and communities.

On World Environment Day 2025, Nature’s Orbit held an awareness session with 50 NSS students of Gauhati University under the global theme "Beat Plastic Pollution," inspiring them to reduce single-use plastics and adopt sustainable alternatives. The program featured the documentary "Footprint," showcasing the inspiring, community-led Zero Waste Silluk Village in Arunachal Pradesh as a model for a plastic-free future, ultimately encouraging students to take practical steps in waste reduction and become youth leaders committed to climate action and zero-waste living

From April 1st to 30th, 2025, Nature’s Orbit hosted around 200 Pearl Academy students for an immersive program on climate change awareness and cultural exchange in Northeast India. The initiative connected students with local communities for hands-on experience in crafts and handloom traditions, emphasizing the region's sustainable living practices and traditional wisdom. Through workshops and community engagement, the program offered a unique blend of education and climate action, helping youth understand sustainability at a grassroots level.

In collaboration with the Green Future Collective, Nature's Orbit organized an awareness campaign in Chhata, Mathura (UP), uniting 50 students and 15 waste pickers to tackle waste management challenges. The campaign emphasized waste segregation at source, reducing landfill burden, and building cleaner communities. A primary focus was promoting the safety, rights, and dignity of sanitation workers. By bridging conversations between youth and frontline waste workers, the initiative successfully fostered empathy, responsibility, and collective action toward a more equitable and sustainable waste management system.

On January 31 and February 1, 2025, Nature’s Orbit and ADTU students presented “Style with Purpose” at Northeast International Fashion Week. The showcase featured innovative upcycled attire made from bubble wrap, denim scraps, and textile waste.

On February 9, 2025, the Golden Pagoda Marathon in Arunachal Pradesh integrated sustainability with sports. Supported by Nature’s Collective Foundation, the event diverted 68 kg of dry waste from landfills and composted 75 kg of food waste.
